Once upon a time, in the sleepy suburbs of Bethesda, Maryland, four high school sophomores were having lunch. One played bass, another drummed, and two were guitarists. Accidentally, of course, the guitarists were sitting too close, touching elbows if you will. At the sight of this, the drummer's father quickly proclaimed that there would be NO touching elbows under his roof. Hilarity ensued and Touching Elbows was born :)
